2011 Annual General Meeting

Our AGM will be held on Thursday 17 November 2011 at 7.30pm in the Mount Colah Public School library. Please read through the job descriptions, and consider whether you may be able to give your time to the Club to ensure the smooth running of SEASON 2012. Some of the positions can be shared, or an assistant could be appointed to help you. The positions are –

PRESIDENT

Chair meetings of the Club – attend KDSA meetings and events – oversee all functions of the Club

VICE PRESIDENT

Support the President – chair meetings in the absence of the President

SECRETARY

Take minutes at each Club meeting and distribute to Committee members – receive all information from KDSA and disseminate to Club members - responsible for Club Code of Conduct

TREASURER

Meet with President, Vice President, Registrar to set fees – work with Registrar to ensure all player fees are received – banking – pay all accounts – maintain proper financial records of the Club

REGISTRAR

Arrange Registration Day – work with Treasurer to ensure all player fees are received – register teams and players with KDSA – maintain player/team records – arrange Presentation Day – liaise with KDSA Member Protection Officer regarding any matters involving Child Protection in soccer, and protection of club members

EQUIPMENT OFFICER

Arrange purchase of any equipment needed (on approval of Committee) – distribute equipment to teams at beginning of season – maintain records of Club equipment – receive equipment back at end of season

RECORDER

Receive game results from each team each weekend – enter results into KDSA database on the day of the match - submit match cards to KDSA immediately after the weekend

GROUNDS OFFICER

Allocate training grounds for each team – prepare grounds dressing roster – ensure that teams are notified of their rostered duty - most of the work for this position is carried out at the beginning of the season

COACHING CO-ORDINATOR

Ensure each team has a coach – arrange for club coaches to attend appropriate coaching courses – keep in touch with coaches to ensure teams are receiving correct training

CANTEEN CO-ORDINATOR

This position could be shared by two people – ordering/purchasing/stocking for both Berry and Foxglove canteens – arrange workers for both canteens - handling of money

CLOTHING AND BOOT POOL

Store clothing (shorts, shinpads, t-shirts, socks) and pre-loved boots - have available for sale to Club members – liaise with Equipment Officer regarding purchase of stock – re-order stock as approved by the Committee

PR and MEDIA WEBMASTER

Arrange all matters relating to promotion of club events Maintain Club website

AGE CONVENORS

Ensure coach and manager for each team - coordinate grading of players at beginning of season - in conjunction with team coach/manager recommend KDSA division placement - communicate with teams during the season - report to monthly Club meeting.
