Free clinics for U8 U9 U10

Fully subscribed - no places remaining this year

This year we will be running free coaching clinics for U8, U9 and U10 players who are registered with Mount Colah Football Club for the 2012 season.

The sessions for the 80 people who signed up are on Fridays from 4 PM, on the following days:

Feb 10, 17 &24
March 2, 9, 16 & 23

These clinics will be run by professional coaches from Football Sydney Group and will be a great opportunity for some of our junior players to improve their skills and their enjoyment of the game. They will also be ready to go for the season proper, which starts on 31 March.

Coaches Desk

The “Coaches Desk” is the section of the site where planned coaching activities can be viewed. It is where future events will be advertised and where I’ll report on noteworthy coaching related activities.

The position of Mt Colah FC Coaching Co-ordinater only emerged again in 2010 and we achieved some modest goals by:

putting 15 coaches through the FFA Approved Grass Roots course,
developing and running the “Defence 101” session for 9 coaches,
starting a record of coaching qualifications within the club and
most importantly engaging the assistance of some highly qualified coaches from within the club to form the foundation of a coaching support group with a focus on improving resources for coaches of MCFC teams.

I encourage you all to utilise us as a resource, ask questions and take a little time to improve your knowledge and share your experience for the benefit of our kids.

2011 Coaches Welcome

Welcome to season 2011 from "The Coaches Desk"

I'd like to start the year by inviting you to the Junior License Course being run by KDSA on the weekend of January 22 & 23.

It's an early start, but with rego days just weeks away what better time to continue your education of the game in a friendly atmosphere with professional presenters so your team / kids get the advantage of your learning. You must have completed the Grass Roots Course to be eligible and the registration form is attached.
