Game 7, 28 May - U8 Cobras vs Hornsby Heights Echidnas
We had not played this team yet so not sure what to expect.
Fortunately we had another sunny morning and with everybody in a good mood, the game got off on a great start.
First half Luka kept the goal clean assisted in the back by Luke, Thomas and Daniel. In the front we had Errol, Kai, Connor and Ethan.
Again the team did a great job - playing together, working together and passing the ball is going smoother each time.
And everyone kept trying to make that first goal! It did not happen first half.
Second half had Daniel in goal and very unlucky - first minute - the Echidna's scored their first (and only) goal. The Cobra's did not give up - they kept going and coming back and trying to get that well deserved goal. Kai had some shots, Errol tried, Ethan kept going forward and forward and - finally it happened - Connor scored a beautiful goal close to finishing time.
Again a great game to watch - can't wait to see how we go next game!
